Students follow a well-designed curriculum. Each year students take core courses in English, math, science, social studies, world languages, and choose academic complements/electives depending on grade level. Each grade has a different set of required courses and number of complements/electives to choose. Core courses are required. Scheduling begins in the early spring with faculty recommending which courses a student should take in the coming year. These recommendations are distributed to parents and students. Along with these recommendations, students have the opportunity to select complements (middle school) or electives (upper school). The selection of a specific course does not guarantee admission. Some deciding factors include number of students allowed in a course, availability based on core courses, and grade level.
