Student Ambassadors & Hosts
The best way to get to know Long Trail is to meet its people. Who better to help with the introductions than Long Trail’s own students?
Student hosts are chosen in late September and are trained to host prospective students. Student hosts call the night before to introduce themselves, greet and welcome prospective families in the morning of the visit and guide the prospective student through a Long Trail school day.
Each year, the Admissions Office assembles a close-knit group of well-trained, articulate, enthusiastic, and personable student ambassadors whose task is to help with the admissions process, promote the school to prospective students, and help with the overall marketing of the school. They also organize applicant visits and LTS hosts and facilitate the orientation of new students into the school community. Student Ambassador membership is an honor and a serious responsibility.
