Admissions Testing
LTS administers two tests to help us better understand the applicant as a learner. Results are shared with parents.
WRAT4
The Wide Range Achievement Test 4 (WRAT4) measures the basic academic skills of reading, spelling, mathematical computation, and sentence comprehension. The WRAT4 is a quick, simple, and psychometrically sound measure of fundamental academic skills. The test is administered on the day of the Student Visit.
OLSAT
The Otis–Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT), is a test of abstract thinking and reasoning ability of children pre-K to 18. The Otis-Lennon measures verbal, quantitative, and spatial reasoning ability. The test is administered monthly to groups of applicants.
