New Students and Families

Welcome New Students & Families!

We are happy to have you joining our LTS family in the fall.  Below you will find some basic information you need to know now that you are a new LTS student.

Summer Reading – All Long Trail students are expected to participate in the Summer Program. Find out more about Summer Reading.

Red Envelopes – Students receive grades four times a semester. Grades, and other important documents and forms, are delivered to students in these Red Envelopes on a monthly basis.

Your First Day of School is New Student Orientation Day.  All new students begin one day earlier than the rest of the school in order to acclimate to without so many other students around.

Transportation- Long Trail has several bus routes. For routes and estimated pick-up/drop off times, Click Here.

Parent and Student Handbook – All students and parents are expected to be familiar with the school rules and policies. To review the Parent and Student Handbook, Click Here.

Lunch/School Store – The School Store is open during break times and lunch. Hot and cold lunch items are for sale every day.

Grade Level Gatherings – Long Trail organizes grade-level gatherings each summer to allow students and families to get to know each other in a social setting prior to the start of the academic year.
