Hosting Seniors:
- College Visits: Still in college? The best way for a prospective student to see a college is with a current student. If you would like to host a senior as they visit your college, contact Scott Magrath, college counselor smagrath@longtrailschool.org. As a Long Trail alumni, you know best how LTS prepared you for the transition to your college, which could be incredibly helpful to a senior making college decisions.
- Senior Internships: Every year, seniors at LTS have the opportunity to spend a week out in the work force, learning about a career they might be interested in. If you would like to have an LTS senior intern at your company, contact Matt Donahue at mdonahue@longtrailschool.org and tell us about where you are and what you do!
Community Service:
Community service has always been a large part of life at Long Trail. If you have an idea for a service or service learning project, would like volunteers for a project you are working on, or would like to join up with us as we perform service in the local area, contact Matt Donahue at mdonahue@longtrailschool.org.
Share Your Experience:
While Long Trail is a small school in southwestern Vermont, we try to give our students the most diverse and broad education possible. We welcome presentations to particular classes or to the entire school community on your experiences in education, the workplace, or service.
