COMMUNITY SERVICE: The Development Office needs 4 responsible workers for our Rat Pack Live From Vegas event on Friday,  June 18. You can earn 6-7 hours of Community Service, from 4:00pm to 11:00pm/12:00a, (depending on how long it takes to break down the event.) You will be helping set up the event, and then helping the caterers as dishwashers and doing other assorted tasks. You will need to be able to provide your own transportation to and from the event, which is at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home (in Manchester).  Please contact Susan Rockwell to volunteer.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: Need to complete you community service hours? Join the Environmental Club today after school for 2 hours of cleanup in Danby.  See Scott W. at some point today if you are able to make it.

Those of you playing soccer tomorrow need to come prepared with cleats and shinguards.  Teams should come dressed in red or white.  Come dressed for rain!

The refrigerators will be cleaned out today around 11:30.  Please be sure to get your things out before then.

Garbage cans have been strategically placed around the school for locker/cubby clean up at noon today.  Please recycle if possible.

Valerie McMorrow is looking for a mothers helper for 3 children  ages 13, 10 1/2, and 5 to start the 10th or 11th of June.  Someone who drives, does NOT smoke, is mature/ reponsible, and fun!!! The individual would sometimes be with the children all day — it would be easy, take them to the pool, or lake, if it is a rainy day maybe a movie. At times you would have all 3 other times the older 2. See Chelley if you are interested.

The LTS community is invited to attend an important event this Saturday called “A Conversation on Climate Change: Where do we go from here?” Featuring some of our nation’s best thinkers, writers, and activists, this vital conversation will focus on the state of our planet and the steps we can take to ensure a future for those who come after us.  Sponsored by the Northshire Bookstore this event will occur at 6pm this Saturday June 5 at BBA’s Riley Center for the Arts.  Speakers include Bill McKibben, Jeff Goodell, Dianne Dumanoski, and Elizabeth Kolbert.Red and White Team lists for Battle Royale are posted on the Team board in the Whalen Common Room.

Red and White team meetings at lunch today to sign-up for Battle Royale games.  Red Team in the Whalen Common Room and White Team in the Hunter Common Room.
