CONGRATULATIONS TO…
Congratulations to David Spero, Scott Worland and students Noah Lowenthal, Oren Cook, and Asa Kuhn for writing a research paper – “The Composition and Abundance of Bethnic Macroinvertebrates in the Mettowee River: A Study of Water Quality in the Lower Lake Champlain Basin” – that was selected for publication in the Lake Champlain Research Proceedings. They have also been selected to present their research results at the Great Lakes Research Symposium in Burlington in June. Long Trail is the only secondary school presenting at the symposium, joining the University of Michigan, Cornell University, McGill University, University of Vermont, Middlebury College, US Geological Survey, EPA, and the VT Agency of Natural Resources. Kudos to both teachers and students for this impressive distinction!
