Home / Media Literacy

Group discussions, personal written reflections, and individual and group research projects and presentations provide students the opportunity to share their thoughts and demonstrate their developing skills. The ability to create various forms of media is part of attaining media fluency so students create mock search engines, public service announcements, and advertising campaigns for local businesses. Once per semester, the class unplugs from technology and heads outdoors to discuss tech/life balance and the need to maintain connectedness with each other.
