EMPTY BOWLS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HUNGER RELATED CHARITIES ON SAT., MAR. 25 from 5-8 pm
On Saturday, March 25, Long Trail School will raise funds for hunger in the region by hosting Empty Bowls. Empty Bowls at Long Trail School has become a popular event with many Northshire residents who support food cupboards, shelves and pantries. A $12 admission fee includes soup, bread, dessert, live entertainment and a handmade bowl to take home. Local hunger-related charities will be the recipients of this biennial event’s earnings. This event is supported by generous donations from community businesses; over 20 local restaurants and chefs are donating fabulous soups, chowders and bisques. Breads and desserts are being supplied as well. These gifts ensure that the evening will make as much money as possible for the beneficiaries.
Over the past ten years, Empty Bowls at Long Trail School has raised over $100,000 with more than 3,500 bowls filled with donated soup. Local hunger-related charities are challenged by need and are looking forward to the monetary support Empty Bowls provides. Please come, enjoy the community spirit and give generously to help out!
