page photo flag detailLTStudies International enables students from around the world to experience all that beautiful, rural Vermont has to offer. This program serves as a two-way sharing of cultures for both international and local students, enriching the academic experience for both.

Students come to Long Trail from around the world, including Austria, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Russia, South Korea, Spain, and Sweden. All international students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the English language through the school and by living with homestay families associated with the school community.

Long Trail School is committed to enrolling a diverse student population, valuing cultural, academic, physical, economic, and ethnic diversity. This gives students the opportunity to be inspired by and learn from one another, fostering inquisitive minds and compassionate hearts.

Our Students

LTStudies International welcomes students worldwide who are motivated to improve their English language skills, to experience American culture, particularly life in the rural countryside, and to prepare for college in the United States. Students have the opportunity to engage actively with the community, participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, take academic classes structured around the English as a Second Language Program, and build confidence with speaking English in their educational and social lives.

Tuition and Fees

TUITION: $42,500
Tuition includes a $7,500 homestay and $500 incidental expense fund fee.

Application Process

International students apply to Long Trail School by following a similar application process as American students. International students additionally need to apply for an F-1 Student Visa.
