LTS International Program
LTStudies International is committed to enhancing cultural diversity within the school community. Long Trail provides international students with an intensive, college-preparatory program which emphasizes the significances of other cultures and the need for active participation in global affairs. Long Trail School appreciates and values all members of the world community.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Long Trail School is committed to enrolling a diverse student population, valuing intellectual, physical, geographic, economic, social, ethnic, and cultural diversity. International students come to Long Trail from around the world. Countries represented include Austria, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Russia, South Korea, Spain, and Sweden.
International students provide the Long Trail and greater communities with enriched global perspectives. All international students are housed with LTS homestay families. This local family housing provides both continued exposure to American culture and the emotional support necessary to succeed academically and socially far from home.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
LTStudies International looks for students worldwide who are motivated to learn English, to experience American culture at school and at home, and to prepare for college in the United States.
WHAT STUDENTS EXPERIENCE
International students at Long Trail School are happy to be here. They learn about American culture and experience life in rural Vermont. They make American and international friends, live with LTS families, academically succeed in an ESL supported program and participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities and sports. Most of all, international students learn to be confident with their use of English in all aspects of their educational and social lives.
International students apply to Long Trail School by following the same application process as American students. International students need to apply for an F-1 Student Visa. LTStudies International follows the TABS International Student Application Process. For more information on how to apply for a Visa, please contact Admissions at email@example.com.
