The Museum and Long Trail School
Long Trail School and The Museum are engaged in a joint collaboration initiated by Daniel J. Vella, founder of The Museum. This project is part of international programs and works in progress begun by The Museum that are intended to promote peace among nations through the arts. Vella has enjoyed this philanthropuic endeavor with LTS.
This first collaboration with The Museum is dedicated to European Historical Revivals; the intention of this work is to encourage student exploration of medieval literature, art, culture and history. In addition, these programs are also designed to preserve heritage through knowledge and awareness. At present, The Museum has invited other nations to form an international collaboration to promote dialogue, research and understanding.
Mission Statement of The Museum
The Museum is an international institution dedicated to the preservation of nobility through chivalric culture, arts and history. It was created to promote historical commemorations and sculpture unveilings—as well as religious and diplomatic events to generate philanthropic and ecumenical expansion through the various Orders of Knighthood. It also aims to promote peace among nations through art.
The artistic works in progress created by Vella at The Museum have been visited by Malta’s presidents, prime ministers, ambassadors, foreign government representatives, royals and nobility, leaders of various Christian denominations, and members of Orders of Knighthood and educational institutions. The exterior sculptures, in the styles of medieval architecture, are being unveiled globally during ecumenical commemorations. These programs are created by Vella to inspire unity and share common interests among ideologies.
