We help to provide exceptional experiences for all students to reach their potential.

Every parent is a member of the LTPA!
The Long Trail Parents Association seeks to support and strengthen the mission of the school through a partnership between the school community and all parents. The LTPA does so through numerous social events, enrichment and fundraising events throughout the school year.

Ways To Get Involved

  • Attend a Meeting: Meetings take place the third Wednesday of each month and all parents are invited. You will receive notification of meeting dates and times through weekly E-News. Meetings are held in the library at 7:00 pm. If you miss a meeting the minutes will be posted in the Parents section of the website and LTS Parent Network on Facebook.
  • Volunteer: Long Trail School relies heavily on volunteerism. Whether you give time in the library, clerical work or help out at a fundraising event, every effort is appreciated and makes an impact.
  • Events: We hope you enjoyed the Welcome Back Picnic, one of the LTPA’s annual events. A couple of other yearly events we are involved with include providing lunch for the faculty twice a year and organzing a BBQ lunch for students and faculty duing Cabin Fever week in March.
  • Fundraising: The LTPA raises funds to support the school’s mission and members decide what to fund. Fundraising plans for this year include:
Concessions at the Middle School Fall Classic Soccer Tournament, Fall play and music concerts.
    Holiday wreath sales
Java House – an evening of entertainment provided by LTS students, families, faculty and friends. Java House falls on the Chinese New Year in 2017 so we will convert the Whalen Common Room into a Chinese Tea House.
