I was fresh out of college in the summer of 1988 when I answered Long Trail’s ad in the Vermont News Guide for a part-time German teaching position. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in German and was thrilled to be hired at LTS. It is a rare occurrence these days to stay in one job for an entire career, but I’ve been fortunate to wear many hats over my many years at Long Trail School and still look forward to going to work every day. I’m passionate about LTS and, as Director of Institutional Advancement, I get to share that passion on a daily basis with the community at large.
My husband Rodger and I live in Manchester, where we raised our three daughters – Julia, Petra and Alina. All three are graduates of Long Trail School. Having grown up on top of Mount Equinox at Skyline Inn as a child, I have a passion for the outdoors and the culinary arts. When I’m not out and about marketing LTS, you can find me on a mountain bike, hiking, skiing at Bromley, gardening or cooking a meal for a crowd.
