I grew up in Grand Haven, Michigan. Shortly after my high school graduation, I made my way out west to Ft. Collins, Colorado. I spent just over ten years out west, with a few of those years in the beautiful mountain town, Crested Butte. After meeting my husband Brian and introducing our first child Eli into the world, we made our way to this beautiful green mountain state, Vermont. I graduated from Castleton State University with a BA in Mathematics and a concentration in Education. After graduation I began working as a Math Interventionist at Lothrop School in Pittsford, Vt. After three years as an interventionist, I became a classroom teacher working in the middle school grades. Four years later and ready for a new adventure in my life, I was hired this past spring as the new Mathematics teacher here at LTS.
My husband Brian and I now have two amazing kids – Eli and Molly, as well as two awesome cats – Tubby and Junior. We love all that Vermont has to offer and when I’m not in the classroom you will typically find me hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, practicing yoga & meditation, reading, and many other things. However, you will most likely find me at one of my kids sporting events here at LTS.
