Tim was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in the area for 12 years before moving to Woodstock, VT. He graduated from Woodstock Union High School and lettered in four varsity sports. Tim went on to Castleton State College where he played soccer and graduated in 1997 with a major in history and a minor in political science. In addition, he completed 18 credits in secondary education courses. After graduation, he relocated back to the Washington, D.C. area (6 years) and then to Connecticut (3 years) where he taught social studies and coached soccer, basketball and lacrosse before coming to Long Trail in the summer of 2006.
At Long Trail, Tim teaches History, is the Athletic Director, coaches boys varsity soccer and basketball, runs various trips to Washington DC, ski trips to the Rockies and national park trips in June. In addition, he is the faculty coordinator of Airband.
Tim lives in Rutland Town with his wife Jessica and her son Cole. In his down time, Tim is an avid traveler who has explored most of the western states and 12 countries to seek adventures such as skiing, scuba diving, golfing, hiking, cliff jumping and everything in between.
