Team Sports
Long Trail fields 22 middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams in 12 sports. Many of our upper school teams compete in the Marble Valley League, which is comprised of public and independent high schools in southern Vermont. The middle school teams play other local schools in Vermont and neighboring New York. Long Trail’s equestrian team, the first in Vermont, travels to competitions throughout New England.
The Student Life and Athletic Office continues to search for additional athletic opportunities based on student interest.

Long Trail ends each season with an Athletic Awards Night in which team members are recognized for their participation and achievement. All administrators, teachers, coaches, athletes, and parents are invited to attend this special event.
