Long Trail School students are offering two free performances this month. On Wed., Dec. 9, Middle and Upper School students will present a choral concert, and on Wed., Dec. 16 students from grades 6-12 will perform an instrumental concert.
Both concerts will feature performances by middle school, upper school, and IB music ensembles across a wide range of musical genres. The Middle School chorus will conduct a program centered thematically around the ideas of unity and peace; Upper School chorus will feature original compositions by students performing in the ensembles. The middle school bands have been exploring large-ensemble concert repertoire covering marches, jazz, and modern concert bands. Original compositions written by performing students will be featured in the Upper School instrumental presentations.
