Offered on a rotating basis

The purpose of this course is to foster an understanding of leadership styles as well as daily events and to show how these events affect us as individuals and as members of larger, global communities. International, national, state, and local documents will be examined and discussed with the intent of interpreting the significance of these events. Students will also place current global leadership events within a historical perspective and suggest future implications of these events. Resources used will include: historical primary sources, newspapers, magazines, the internet, movies, and national television media.
