I grew up in Darien, Connecticut and went to Fordham University. I graduated with a BA in American History and two minors, Education and Peace and Justice.
I started my career as a high school history teacher in the New York City public school system serving the most needy of students. Then I jumped to the other side of the educational spectrum and became an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions for the College and School of Engineering at Columbia University. When we moved to Manchester, I joined the Board of Friends of MEMS and later served on the Manchester School Board. I have also enjoyed serving as a parent volunteer for Long Trail.
I live in Manchester with my husband, Mark and our four children and two dogs. I love to play tennis, paddle tennis, golf and to ski. I also love nothing better than cooking a big dinner for friends and family.
