Home / Weekly Sketch Contest


The Arts Department sponsors a Weekly Sketch competition that all students are welcomed to participate in.  Anharad and Hakan judge each entry and students are given points depending on where they place.  The points accumulate and the student with the most points at the end of the school year  wins a grand art prize on the last day of school.

February 12 Weekly Sketch Winners: Congratulations to our Weekly Sketch Winners! Gretchen Hammell (Grade 7) won first place with her detailed drawing from observation. Langston Quail (Grade 7) was a very close second place winner with his drawing of his native tree branch collection.

January 29 Weekly Sketch Winners: Congratulations to this week’s winners of the Imaginary Doodle contest! First place: Lang Quail (Grade 7), Zoe Grigsby (Grade 7), Chaeli Knapp-Wilson (Grade 7), Sean Bottomms (Grade 7), and Isabelle Desroches (Grade 8). All showed excellent imagination and skills.
