The Long Trail School National Honor Society is a group of motivated students of high academic standing who strive to utilize their abilities to make a positive contribution to the community around them. Carefully review the NHS Standards. National Honor Society members must commit to each of the standards in order to remain in good standing. Failure to comply may result in dismissal as outlined in the National Honor Society Bylaws.

Attend the Induction Ceremony;
Miss only one meeting per semester each year;
Complete and document at least five volunteer hours per semester;
Participate in the planning and/or execution of all group service projects;
Maintain a cumulative average of 90% or better;
Maintain good moral character;
Pay the yearly dues set by the national organization in compliance with the Long Trail School Policy.
