A campus visit is the first step in your Long Trail journey. The day of classes is your student’s chance to explore our campus, connect with students, get a feel for our academics, arts and athletic opportunities. On a regular LTS day, your child will soak in our distinct school culture. Visits may be scheduled trough the Application Checklist in the Admissions Portal, or by contacting Director of Admissions Katie Redding.
Student Visit
Your LTS visit begins by meeting your Student Host who will be your guide throughout the day. We make every effort to pair you with a host of similar age and interests. You will join them for advisory, the all school morning meeting, and then you will shadow your host through a full day of academic classes. This will give you a chance to meet teachers and students and get a sense of what it is like to be a Long Trail student. Lunch is provided for all visitors and hosts.
Parent Tours
It is customary for parents to attend our all-school morning meeting and tour with the Director on the morning of the full-day student visit. Parents can, of course, have a tour ahead of the student visit if that is preferred.
