Julia has been working at LTS since 2020. With a B.A. in philosophy and classics from Washington and Lee University and an M.A. Ed. in secondary social studies education from Wake Forest, Julia serves as LTS’s history department chair and history teacher. In addition, Julia serves the LTS community as National Honor Society advisor, IB Theory of Knowledge teacher and EE coordinator. Outside of school, Julia serves on the Board of Trustees for Second Chance Animal Shelter and enjoys spending her time hiking with her family and needlepointing.
