Kate has been working at Long Trail since 2020. Throughout Kate’s teaching career, she has taught a variety of subjects at schools in southern Vermont and New York City. Kate has B.S. in secondary education, with a focus in English and philosophy and a Masters in education. Kate likes to demonstrate knowledge of a subject through activities, simulations, games, and projects. She values kindness, empathy, and respect in her classroom in addition to the LTS core values. Outside of school, Kate enjoys swimming, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two children.
