Scott Worland has been teaching science at Long Trail School since 2003 and currently serves as the Department Chair. He holds a B.S. in Biology from St. Lawrence University and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Biology Teaching from Antioch University New England.

A dedicated educator and lifelong learner, Scott brings both passion and real-world experience to his classroom. He hikes a mountain every morning—year-round—draws inspiration from the natural world, and is especially enthusiastic about plant science and environmental health.

He is also a proud LTS parent, with a daughter who graduated in 2022 and a son in the Class of 2027.
