Long Trail students benefit from IB curriculum through two pathways, catering to each student’s personal goals: a certificate in select IB classes or the IB Diploma.
Upper School students in grades 11 and 12 have the option to pursue the full IB Diploma or to take individual IB courses for advanced learning opportunities. About half of a Long Trail School graduating class pursue the IB diploma; the majority of all Long Trail School juniors and seniors take at least one IB individual course, most earning certificates. The IB Diploma is recognized by universities worldwide.
