    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students academically.

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Implementing SEL programs to help students develop life skills.

    • Life-Skills course provides students with valuable tools to enhance their social-emotional development.

  • Personal/Social Counseling: Offering support for personal issues such as peer relationships, self-esteem, stress management, and coping with life changes.

    • Conflict Resolution: Helping students mediate conflicts and develop effective communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Group Counseling: Facilitating small group sessions on topics like social skills, bullying prevention, or stress management.

    • Parent/Family Support: Engaging with families to provide guidance on supporting their child’s emotional, academic, and social development.

    • Crisis Intervention: Responding to immediate emotional crises and providing referrals to in-school mental health counseling.

Mental Health Counseling

  • Individual Counseling: Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to address emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns.

    • Academic/Emotional Interventions: Developing and implementing strategies to manage and improve academic challenges related to emotional or mental health issues.

  • Crisis Intervention: Offering immediate support to students in acute emotional distress or experiencing a crisis.

  • School/Parent Collaboration : Offering advice and support to school staff and parents regarding students’ mental health, learning challenges, and behavior management strategies.

    • Support for Special Education: Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students with IEP’s and 504’s.

    • Referral Services: Connecting students and families to community-based resources, including mental health services, support groups, and specialized programs.

  • Prevention and Awareness Programs: Organizing and providing resources on mental health topics.
