Senior Core Talks
Core Talks are a meaningful Long Trail School tradition that gives each senior an opportunity to share a piece of who they are with the LTS community. During morning meeting, seniors reflect on the experiences, beliefs, life lessons, and words of wisdom that have shaped them, offering their peers a window into what matters most to them.
Rooted in LTS’s five Core Values—Integrity, Stewardship, Kindness, Openness, and Respect (ISKOR)—these talks encourage students to reflect on who they are, what they believe, and how they hope to move through the world. Each talk is an opportunity to share a lesson learned, offer advice, or reflect on what they wish they had known at an earlier point in their lives.
Through these personal stories and reflections, Core Talks strengthen our community, invite meaningful conversation, and remind us that we all have something valuable to learn from one another.
