The Class of 2025 always found the sun on a cloudy

The Class of 2025 always found the sun on a cloudy day—and Thursday was no exception. Despite the rain, Long Trail School’s 49th Commencement celebrated a truly remarkable group of students, marking a milestone for our largest graduating class yet.

Sometimes it’s the family you’re born into, and sometimes it’s the one you build. We are proud to welcome this class and to keep building the Long Trail family.

Last Friday was a big day on campus! We welcomed o

Last Friday was a big day on campus! We welcomed over 100 grandparents and guests for Grandparents Day and capped it off with the one-night-only performance of the Middle School play, Pluto, the Wayward Planetoid.

Our guests experienced a day in the life of a Long Trail student, complete with a special musical performance, original poetry readings, and a sneak peek of the theater production. The campus was buzzing with energy and joy!

Our art students have been busy creating exceptional work! Please join us in congratulating Wyatt D., Heidi M., and Laurel S., who are representing Long Trail School in the Congressional Art Competition. Their stunning artwork is featured below.

On May 9, they’ll join 104 other talented students to find out whose piece will be selected to represent Vermont in Washington, D.C. The winning artist will have their work displayed at the U.S. Capitol and be invited to an award ceremony in our nation’s capital.

Yesterday, Julia Craig's 9th-grade Civics and Econ

Yesterday, Julia Craig's 9th-grade Civics and Economics class hosted a Presidential Debate, inviting the student body to participate in a mock election!

Students created news reports, issue ads, attack ads, and a live debate, providing everything needed to make an informed choice. A huge shoutout to these young leaders for bringing the election process to life.
